Your time slot is booked exclusively for you. A 50% deposit will be required to reserve your appointment time. Please make sure to select any add-on’s including heat styling and extra time for hair length when booking your appointment. NARA Head Spa has a strict 24-hour policy and will keep the 50% deposit as a service fee for any missed appointments. Additionally, if you decide to downgrade to a shorter appointment 24 hours prior, you will still be liable for the fees of the original appointment. Please refer to the FAQ to plan your appointments accordingly.

All product purchases are FINAL SALE. Products cannot be returned for exchanges, refunds or store credit.

It is inadvisable to receive a head spa treatment during the first 3 months of pregnancy. This is due to changes in the body’s circulation and variable blood pressure. After the 1st trimester, you may enjoy the benefits of head massage keeping in mind if you are comfortable being in a lying down position for the duration of the treatment.

All our products are color-safe. However, some color or Keratin services may lift during our detoxifying process so it is recommended to wait at least a week after any chemical services before receiving a head spa.

Scalp muscle supports your facial muscles. We create a mini-face lift by toning the scalp through lymphatic drainage. Prevents and relieves tension headaches and migraines. Increases blood flow and oxygen circulation to the brain and helps promote clarity, focus and memory. Decreases insomnia and promotes deep sleep.

When NOT to get a head spa treatment: If you have taken drugs or alcohol in the last 12 hours prior to service. Flu or Fever Diarrhea or Abdominal Pain Infectious or contagious diseases or skin conditions. Our trichologist will assess your scalp prior to service and will not proceed if contagious conditions are present. Immediately after surgery whether cosmetic, reconstructive of medical purposes. Please wait 2 weeks after any type of beauty lasering services We do not perform head spa services on braids, extensions or sew-in’s as this obstructs our access to your scalp. However, we highly encourage you to do head spa treatments in between your braids or extensions to refresh your scalp! History of cardiovascular disorders If you have experienced an epileptic seizure within the last year IF you have experienced sunburn on the scalp or any burns or lacerations on the scalp. Our Takara Belmont Chair has a weight limit of 250 pounds. To avoid injuries, we advise you not to book a head spa if you exceed this weight limit. We humbly apologize for this inconvenience.

This session is meant for you to completely turn off your mind to the outside world and fully be immersed in the moment. For this reason our concept does not accommodate more than one person in the studio. Should you wish to bring a partner, they are welcome to wait at the waiting room area for you to finish your session, and you may book a session back-to-back.
